FAQ's on GST Notice reply
Don't ignore it. Note the date by which to reply and send us a copy. We'll explain what it means and what's needed.
Notices are issued on the GST portal, in the notices section of your account, and usually emailed too.
Many can, especially those caused by mismatches or missing information. Where the department proposes a demand, a well-supported reply gives you the best chance of a fair outcome.
Appeals are a separate piece of work. If a matter goes beyond a reply, we explain the options and quote for it.
Most notices come from mismatches between returns. Regular reconciliation, as in our GST return filing service, prevents many of them.
